Brazil: ARTICLE 19 launches website and report on Access to Information

ARTICLE 19 South America has launched a new website, the Free Access Portal (Portal Livre Acesso), which will offer a range of reference material related to the theme of Freedom of Information in Brazil. The organisation has also launched a report which evaluates the implementation of the Access to Information law by federal public agencies in 2013.

On 13 May 2014, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) handed down its much-awaited decision in Google Spain SL, Google Inc. v Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, Mario Costeja González.
