Posted: 06 Jun 2014 09:30 PM PDT Unfortunately, it takes the media mouthpiece of the Russian government to tell the truth about Hillary Clinton and the War Party. You’ll never get the truth from the U.S. government’s media mouthpiece who self-righteously and disingenuously claim they are independent and “fair and balanced” (cue laugh track). Clinton, of course, is no different than your garden variety Republican, including the any number of neocons. All of them are propped up by the military-industrial- Of course, anybody who has more than two brain cells to rub together and is not in serious denial knows we live in an authoritarian plutocracy run for the sake of a small clique of mega-rich and powerful global internationalists. Posted: 06 Jun 2014 08:30 PM PDT Physicists call them “wormholes” and in fact they are the Einstein’s field equations for gravity. Theoretically, wormholes are tunnels that connect different points in spacetime. In simple words, if someone enters a wormhole located, for example, in our solar system, he can get to a remote location of the galaxy or the universe in time dt, which would normally require thousands or millions of years. A few weeks ago Luke Butcher, Professor of Physics at Cambridge University, garnered the spotlight with a new theory about wormholes. According to Dr Butcher, wormholes can act as a cosmic server for message transfer in time. Read Entire Article » |
Posted: 06 Jun 2014 08:00 PM PDT Dutch scientists achieved accurate teleportation of quantum information over a distance of three meters. This is a great achievement, but is still far from the famous phrase “Beam me up, Scotty!” from Star Trek where people were teleported into space. However, it is another step in this direction. Many scientists now believe that once teleportation of people from one place to another will be possible. However, at present and for quite long time, we will be limited to teleportation of quantum information. The evolution of this research will contribute to the creation of quantum Internet, which will interconnect lightning-fast quantum computers. Before the idea of quantum internet is realized, quantum teleportation will make data transfer more secure than in today’s communications, as the transmission of quantum data is considered 100% secure (at least theoretically). Posted: 06 Jun 2014 07:00 PM PDT Out of the many incredible artefacts that have been recovered from sites in Iraq where flourishing Sumerian cities once stood, few have been more intriguing that the Sumerian King List, an ancient manuscript originally recorded in the Sumerian language, listing kings of Sumer (ancient southern Iraq) from Sumerian and neighbouring dynasties, their supposed reign lengths, and the locations of "official" kingship. What makes this artefact so unique is the fact that the list blends apparently mythical pre-dynastic rulers with historical rulers who are known to have existed. The first fragment of this rare and unique text, a 4,000-year-old cuneiform tablet, was found in the early 1900s by German-American scholar Hermann Hilprecht at the site of ancient Nippur and published in 1906. Since Hilprecht’s discovery, at least 18 other exemplars of the king’s list have been found, most of them dating from the second half of the Isin dynasty (c. 2017-1794 BCE.). No two of these documents are identical. Read Entire Article » |
